Hi, I'm James, the owner of Nineteen 25, a historic venue in downtown Denver steeped in the captivating history of being an original speakeasy and brothel from the prohibition era. This building is a true gem, preserving the charm and tales of the past. In our basement, there are closed-off tunnels that once connected to the Brown Palace, adding to the allure of this space. Imagine guests from that era using these underground passages, turning our building into a speakeasy in the basement and a brothel upstairs. If only these walls could talk!
Nineteen 25 spans 2,100 square feet across five distinct rooms, including a catering room, two cocktail lounges, a dance area, and a charming bar space. We cater to various events such as corporate events, birthday celebrations, wedding parties, engagement parties, elopements, intimate weddings, and much more. Whether you're planning a special event or looking for a unique space for photos with your favorite whiskey, we'd love to host you.

As the founder of Nineteen 25 and co-founder of Red Room Society , I've had the opportunity to create everything from intimate private gatherings and immersive nightlife experiences to large-scale corporate events designed to bring people together in meaningful ways.
